Recently, our company successfully completed the replacement and delivery of 70 Yuchai diesel engines to Bishkek Bus Company in Kyrgyzstan. These engines will all be used to replace the existing old power systems of local Yaxing buses, injecting new power into Bishkek's urban public transportation. From the project's award to the completion of debugging and operation of all vehicles, the entire process was efficiently promoted with zero major faults, and it received formal recognition from the Bishkek City Transportation Authority and relevant leaders of the bus company. This old power system renewal project for Bishkek Bus Company is one of the larger bus power upgrade procurement projects in the region in recent years. After successfully winning the bid, our company immediately collaborated with Yuchai Group to form a special project team, developing a full-process implementation plan tailored to the actual operating conditions of local buses. Considering the characteristics of Bishkek, such as a high proportion of mountainous routes, long low-temperature operation periods in winter, and long daily operating mileage of buses, the technical teams of both parties conducted multiple rounds of parameter calibration focusing on the power output curve of Yuchai's compatible engine models, adaptability to plateau environments, low-temperature start-up performance, and fuel economy, ensuring that these engines fully match the complex local operating scenarios. In terms of technical support, our company arranged for a team of senior engineers to be stationed on-site in advance, collaborating with the local bus maintenance team throughout the process. They conducted a survey of the original power cabin structure of each of the 70 Yaxing buses, customizing an adaptive installation plan. This not only ensured that the replacement accuracy met Yuchai's original technical standards but also minimized the modification period for each individual vehicle, avoiding long-term impacts on the city's daily bus transportation capacity. To ensure the overall delivery efficiency of the project, our company opened a green channel for cross-border transportation, adopting a logistics plan of "priority shipment, full tracking, and batch arrival", significantly reducing the time equipment spends in transit and ensuring precise synchronization between the arrival of engines and the progress of on-site replacement, avoiding situations where personnel wait for equipment. At the same time, our company provided a localized after-sales service system covering the entire life cycle for this project: establishing a dedicated operation archive for each engine, recording the entire process data of installation, debugging, and routine maintenance, setting up a dedicated spare parts reserve point locally, and achieving a two-hour response and supply for commonly used and vulnerable parts. We also provided systematic operation and maintenance training for the maintenance team of Bishkek Bus Company, helping the local team quickly grasp new engine maintenance skills. Currently, the 70 buses equipped with the new Yuchai diesel engines have been gradually put into operation on Bishkek's city routes. After actual route testing, the vehicles with the new power system exhibited smoother power response, significantly improved performance in climbing and heavy-load conditions, and a notable reduction in fuel consumption per 100 kilometers compared to the original old engine. Additionally, the overall operating noise of the vehicle was further reduced, enhancing both the passenger experience and the economic efficiency of bus operations. The relevant person in charge of the Bishkek City Transportation Department stated during the project acceptance phase that the implementation of this new power system effectively addressed the long-standing pain points of insufficient power and high maintenance costs faced by a number of old buses in the local area, providing citizens with a more stable and comfortable public transportation experience. The successful delivery of this project marks another benchmark case for our company and Yuchai Group in collaboratively implementing projects in the Central Asian market. In the future, our company will continue to leverage the advantages of Yuchai's full range of power products, continuously improve the localized technology and after-sales service network in the Central Asian region, and provide reliable overall solutions for the upgrading of public transportation and optimization of commercial vehicle power in more cities along the route.
